10. Pregnancy and extensions

Updated: Jan 10

Getting extensions during pregnancy usually does no harm at all. One thing I must highlight though is the major hormone changes you can experience which effect your natural hair. Your hair can change in many different ways and it varies from woman to woman - It can grow loads and thicken up or it can start to shed and thin out. I have noticed that a lot of women’s hair will thicken up during pregnancy and have postpartum hair loss up to a year after giving birth. I have had many clients who have worn them before, during and after pregnancy (I did too) it's your choice if you want them in or not. l'm happy for you to come to me as long as you understand that your hair can change by no fault of the extension application.
